Come Say Hi!
Come check out the new store—we soft opened on February 22nd! Pick up a cheese board to hold some cheese from the Cold Spring Cheese Shop and pair it with wine from Flowercup. Maybe a coffee mug instead with beans from Understory Market paired with a croissant from Paulette. Our little village has (most of) what you need.
Or come for a ceramics class and hang for a while. We offer weekly classes for kids and are a short walk from Haldane School. We have Saturday morning workshops as well as DIY ceramics painting on a drop-in basis. We will add adult classes soon!
Born from the Cold Spring community
Cold Spring Ceramics was founded in 2017 by artist Kent Henricksen when he made some utilitarian bowls and mugs for his family. Soon after, his stoneware was available at the Cold Spring Apothecary, Cold Spring General Store and the Cheese Shop.
At around that time, Kent began offering ceramic classes out of the studio as part of his role on the Haldane School Foundation Board—kids made bird nests, face mugs and chess sets. It was a blast! We are excited to bring classes back at 165 Main Street.
