Workshop Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY

Given the small size of our studio and popularity of our Walk-In, Wheel, and Workshop offerings, we are unable to offer refunds or make-up time for missed sessions. You are welcome to send a friend in your stead. 

For 8-week classes, we DO offer up to two make-up sessions within the same calendar year. Classes are not refundable. 

If Cold Spring Ceramics cancels a class due to weather or otherwise, the team will work with you to schedule a make-up session. 

A NOTE ABOUT CLAY

Cold Spring Ceramics takes all of our student work seriously. While we hope for every project to be successful, clay and glaze are unpredictable. There will be times when a piece does not fire well in the kiln. An element could detach, cracks can occur, pieces can break, and glaze can pool. Cold Spring Ceramics is unable to offer refunds for unsuccessful projects.

PROJECT PICK-UP

Cold Spring Ceramics will notify you when your piece is complete and ready for pick-up. Please anticipate 2-3 weeks. Pieces that are not claimed within two months will be discarded, due to the limited amount of space in the workshop.
