Bring 1 friend and create a custom stoneware chess set!
We'll provide weighed balls of clay for your bespoke 32 chess pieces. You'll sculpt the clay to your own vision of kings, queens, knights, bishops, rooks, and pawns. For adults and kids age 10 and up. (Younger children may be accompanied by one adult.) Includes:
- 2 hours of crafting your chess pieces
- Clay for each chess piece
- We’ll dip glaze your pieces in white and blue
- We will fire your pieces in a kiln, to be ready for pick-up in 2-5 weeks.
This offering Is available on a walk-In basis Thursday-Sunday 11-4pm. We will need about 15 minutes to prepare your clay before your session starts. Please email us (info AT coldspringceramics.com) if you'd like to confirm additional availability for this offering or confirm your spot in advance.
