Middle & high school kids, we've got you! A Friday class from 2:30-4pm to hand-build and spend a little time on the wheel.
This is an art class for students to learn hand-building techniques using stoneware, typically including pinching, coiling, and slab construction to create sculptures, bowls, and other forms, while also learning about the clay properties, tools, and the firing process in a kiln. We will include a brief introduction to the wheel.
Projects can be instructed or self-guided. Students choose the music.
